The new research microscope includes Olympus' unrivalled Universal Infinity System (UIS) optical infinity correction system, accepting fluorescence technology or DIC (Nomarski) differential interference contrast.
Its "Y" shaped frame is very stable and accepts a wide variety of accessories and lenses. The rugged design is capable of accepting heavy accessory equipment required for today's demand in microscopy techniques without sacrificing operator comfort.
